Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Today my resolve just disappeared. I don't know why as I wasn't particularly hungry. It started at work. A colleague bought some almonds, wrapped in dates and covered in chocolate back from Dubai. Just one I thought but wow were they good and one turned into four. Then we had a meeting at lunchtime in the canteen and I was starving so picked up some food. Sadly I avoided the salad and went for the onion bharji and samosa.
By the time I got to my sister's house in the evening I had weakened totally and ate the curry and had a couple of glasses of red wine. I savoured every mouthful.
Did I feel guilty - NO. Realistically I thought there might be days like this. Although I would have liked it to be later in the diet. Secretly I had my fingers crossed I hadn't done too much diet.
