Whoop, whoop 3lbs lost I am ecstatic after the struggle of yesterday and that has spurred me on and motivated me to try harder today. I've checked the chat on the Blood Sugar Diet website and it seems that a lot of people felt dizzy yesterday and it is your body getting used to the reduced carbs. This morning I am feeling good.
I am swapping around a few of the meals as I am working from home today so it is easier for me to make the baked avocado and egg. Wow, this was so tasty. I am definitely making this again on or off the diet. Nom, nom.
When I work at home I really need to make and effort to move. It is easy to get engrossed in work and only move to make a cup of coffee or get some food. Sometimes I have only completed less than a thousand steps all day. In order to get my steps in today I visited a close friend who lives nearby this evening. When we are together we usually manage to finish off a bottle of wine, but she knows how important this diet is to me so only offered me coffee. Great to think that she is being supportive, and do you know what, I had just as good a time chatting without the alcohol.
I went home and made the soup. I like a bit of spice so I added a fresh chilli. I was starving by the time I ate so it went down well and was really tasty. A pleasant surprise.
Although the food has been lovely and I'm thrilled I've lost some weight it has been hard to resist nibbling between meals. I've found hot water with a slice of lemon helps but my resistance is low and I chomp on a few jaffa cakes before going to bed.
