Ok, I'm back on it and have had a good day food wise. I've been using the Yazio app to log my food and drink. Being an IT person using the app appeals to the inner nerd in me and keeps me entertained. It also keeps me focused on exactly how many calories and carbs are in certain foods !!
I work late as I left work early yesterday and the hunger pangs had started. Unthinkingly I rush onto the train and plonk myself next to someone enjoying a MacDonalds, chips on the table covered in ketchup and the smell of burger wafting through the carriage. I wonder if he would think it was rude if I picked at one I think to myself and resisted asking for one.
There is always usually the smell of food on the evening journey home and that's Ok. Although I'm sure one day someone had a takeaway curry which I thought was rather strange to have on the train. What I really hate is sitting next to someone with BO or smelly breath. I feel like I need to hold my breathe all the way to my stop. What baffles me is why some people smell bad first thing in the morning. Surely they must wash ? I once saw a lady with one of those nose masks on the train and thought it wasn't a bad idea!!
Still I managed to keep my hands of the man's chips and satiated mysef with green soup when I got home making me feel very virtuous for the day.
