My lapse yesterday has caused a 1lb gain. I am relieved as it is not as much damage as I thought it might have been. I am determined to get back on track today. I really like the fruit and yoghurt dishes on the diet. The broccolli and cheddar soup is also tasty.
I am working from home today and do my steps walking to the Doctor to talk about the diet and my medication. I am pleased that my fasting bloods have fallen and the Doctor halves my gliclazide. Result. Just over one week in and my medication has been reduced. That is the main aim of my diet so I am elated and it helps me focus and stick to the diet plan.
In the evening I work out the calories for the chicken and swap it with halloumi as I am not that keen on chicken. I feel like I am back on track now.
