After my curry last night I didn't really feel hungry in the morning. Even though I leave early for work I don't usually have breakfast until I get to work. Usually I would pick up a a porridge pot or croissant from the canteen to go with my coffee. I do like fruit and yoghurt though so enjoyed this breakfast with ritual cup of coffee.
Last night, when I was making the tuna salad I thought wow, there is a lot of onion in here, but apart from that this was like the salads I made in the old days before the bad habits kicked in. I eat at my desk so I can use my lunch break to go for a walk and I was worried that people would comment about the smell. . When I opened my lunch box the whiff of the onions and tuna wafted out whetting my appetite and no-one said a thing. It was a substantial salad with each mouthful providing a riot of flavours which was both satisfying and kept me from being hungry until I got home.
My journey home is 2 hours and by the time I arrived home I was starving and really looking forward to the Taco Lettuce Wraps. When I came to make them I was disappointed at how little mince there was for 2 servings. However, the dish was very tasty and because of the flavour managed to make me feel full.
I was starting to feel a little hungry when I went to bed but overall the food I had today had been nice and to prepare the meals had been quick and straightforward.
